Southern California doesn’t lack sun or people willing to think outside the box. Now, those forces have converged in a new agreement between Southern California Edison (SCE)–in yet another act of large-scale renewable energy leadership–and SunLink Corporation, sealing the deal on the beginning of a massive rooftop solar generation program in San Bernardino and eastern Los Angeles Counties.
SunLink is known for their rooftop mounting technology, which will be utilized to install up to 50 MW worth of photovoltaic (PV) panels on numerous commercial rooftops in the area by mid-2011.
SunLink offers multiple tilt angles and non-penetrating mounting options for a wide variety of solar panels, which will allow for a high-performance array that reduces installation costs and maximizes labor efficiency on the roof. schott-solar
